| All of our foals are imprinted at birth. We work with each one daily. They are taught to lead, tie, load, trim and clip. Their ears and feet are handled constantly. Upon weaning, we take each one on hikes at our local park district. They are led through the woods, into streams, over logs and across bridges. If we have them long enough, we take them to shows and enter them in halter classes. We feel that it is important to get them acclimated to the hustle and bustle atmosphere of the event. Owning a mule should be a lifetime commitment. We do our best to put the best foundation on our babies so that they have the brightest future possible! |
